Heap Wah Barakah’s operating history traces back to 1978, when the business began as a small piping and plumbing retail counter near Old Klang Road in Kuala Lumpur. The company was subsequently incorporated in Malaysia in 1984.
Today, its operations are supported by facilities in Petaling Jaya, Puchong and Bandar Baru Bangi, together with logistics capabilities covering Peninsular Malaysia.
Over more than four decades, the business has evolved from traditional plumbing and piping distribution into a broader infrastructure supply company serving water, construction, property development and industrial applications.
Tradeview Research records Heap Wah Barakah’s revenue increasing from RM54.6 million in FY2023 to RM74.0 million in FY2025, representing a two-year compound annual growth rate of 16.4%.
Over the same period, gross profit increased from RM8.4 million to RM13.5 million, while gross margin improved from 15.5% to 18.3%.
